Tammy Van Wisse

Born in Victoria on 23 July 1968, Tammy van Wisse was a late comer to swimming, beginning formal training at 11 as a means of shaking a "fatty girl" image. She has since won 16 Royal Lifesaving Ironwoman titles, countless high profile open water events, and broken world records in the most treacherous oceans.

Since her first marathon swim in 1986, Tammy has swum enough marathons to circumnavigate the planet 1.50 times (60,000kms) Tammy is more than an athlete. She epitomises the attractive, outgoing and friendly personality of a healthy young Australian.

Her infectious personality, beaming smile and well modulated voice make her an excellent presenter & mc. which is why she is very impressive as a keynote motivational speaker.
